Time trials runs just like a regular meet to get the first times of the season for the purpose meet entries for the first meet. Main events and relays are determined mostly by times with a few exceptions. All swimmers are entered as 'attending' for all meets. If your swimmer will be absent for any meet, please 'decline' their attendance so we do not put them in relays or main events. This is one of the most crucial topics since it effects meet entries and other swimmers for each meet. Deadline to 'decline' any meet is the Friday before that given meet. There will be many reminders sent out and this is completely the responsibility of the parent. Emergencies such as injuries or sickness at the last minute are the only excused changes for meet attendance. Please do not be a 'no show' for any meet. It matters more than you may know. |
